  • To set-up gene bank on cattle germplasm
  • To evaluate sires for progeny testing and disseminating newly evolved germplasm on large scale in Military Farms
  • To undertake field progeny testing of crossbred bulls in different agro-climatic regions
  • To evaluate and improve important dual purpose indigenous cattle breeds
